Spring Thread® Lift

At Tajmeel Clinic Bournemouth we are committed to providing our clients with advanced, results-focused treatments that are tailored to their individual skin needs. In line with this commitment, we are now offering the innovative Spring Thread® Lift, a non-surgical solution designed to address skin laxity, improve firmness, and restore youthful facial contours.

Spring Thread® Lift

Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation

The Spring Thread® lift is an advanced non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedure designed to lift and support sagging facial tissues while preserving natural movement and expression. It provides a longer-lasting alternative to injectables and absorbable threads for patients seeking more noticeable and durable results without surgery.

Spring Thread® is manufactured in France using permanent, medical-grade materials engineered for strength, elasticity, and longevity. The treatment enhances facial contours with minimal downtime and no visible scarring.

What Is a Spring Thread® Lift?

A Spring Thread® lift is a minimally invasive procedure that repositions facial tissues using elastic, permanent threads placed beneath the skin. Unlike absorbable threads, Spring Thread® offers long-term mechanical support while allowing the face to move naturally.

The treatment is designed to bridge the gap between temporary non-surgical treatments and traditional surgical facelifts.

Who Is This Treatment Suitable For?

Spring Thread® may be suitable for individuals who:

  • Have mild to moderate facial laxity
  • Wish to lift the cheeks, jawline, or neck
  • Are seeking longer-lasting results than absorbable threads
  • Prefer to avoid surgical facelift procedures
  • Want natural-looking facial rejuvenation with minimal downtime

A full medical consultation is required to determine suitability.

Treatment Areas

Spring Thread® can be used to treat multiple areas of the face and neck, including:

  • Cheeks and mid-face
  • Jawline and jowls
  • Nasolabial folds and marionette lines
  • Neck
  • Brow region

The procedure restores internal tissue support, improving facial definition and balance while maintaining a natural appearance.

How Does Spring Thread® Work?

Spring Thread® is composed of a permanent silicone and polyester core with approximately 20% elasticity. This elasticity allows the thread to move with facial expressions while maintaining continuous lift.

Rounded silicone cogs anchor securely into the tissue, allowing controlled repositioning and stable long-term support. The lifting effect is visible immediately and continues to refine as the tissues settle.

The Procedure

The Spring Thread® lift is performed under local anaesthetic and typically takes around 60 minutes.

  • The skin is cleansed and carefully marked
  • Small entry points are made, usually near the temples or behind the ears
  • Threads are inserted beneath the skin using specialised needles
  • The threads are adjusted to achieve the desired lift and then trimmed

No stitches are required, and there are no visible incisions.

Recovery and Results

Recovery following a Spring Thread® lift is generally straightforward:

  • Most patients return to normal activities within 2–3 days
  • Mild swelling or bruising may occur and usually resolves within 1–2 weeks
  • Results are visible immediately and continue to improve over several weeks

The lifting effect typically lasts 3–5 years, gradually softening over time.

Safety and Clinical Standards

Spring Thread® is a CE-marked medical device with over a decade of clinical use across Europe. The materials used have a long history of safe application in surgical medicine.
