Do you suspect that you may have been in contact with the COVID-19 virus? If so, it’s important to get yourself tested right away to ensure you’re not unintentionally transmitting the virus to other people. At Tajmeel Clinic, we’re taking steps to make antibody testing kits available to our clients. These kits are approved for use and accurate enough to detect signs of any infection. For the last year, the COVID-19 pandemic has maintained its grip on the world, changing the way we live our lives with many having to endure prolonged, enforced lockdowns. Coronavirus is easily transmissible, and you may be infected without even realising it. If you suspect you’ve had contact with the virus or are planning a trip abroad or visiting loved ones (rules permitting), it’s recommended that you get yourself tested. For antibody testing kits, you can always reach out to Tajmeel Clinic.
Originally identified in Wuhan, China back in December of 2019, coronavirus – officially named SARS-CoV-2 – caught the world by surprise by how quickly it spread. Routine testing protocols are, therefore, necessary for any sense of normality to be restored. At Tajmeel Clinic, we supply two versions of our coronavirus testing kits, both of which are internationally approved and capable of identifying any trace of the infection quickly and effectively.
If you’ve been in contact with the virus and had it, you’d likely know about it. But this isn’t always the case; some people may only experience very minor symptoms. Yet they remain infectious so long as they carry the virus within them. If you’ve had the virus, your body will have developed antibodies which will be picked up by our COVID-19 testing kits. The kit will show whether you currently have or have had COVID-19 with a clear and concise reading.
As well as antibody testing kits, we also supply PCR Swab Tests. While most display symptoms of COVID-19 when infected, some show no symptoms whatsoever. Yet the virus remains, and the individual is just as infectious as anyone else infected with the virus. This swab test targets the upper airways where the virus is usually found in infected individuals. If traces are discovered, this will indicate that you have had contact with the virus and are contagious.
Once you’ve taken a swab, results will be emailed back from the laboratory within 72 hours. If you’re considering taking a flight, you should know that many countries now require a negative COVID-19 swab test certificate. Without one, you will not be permitted to fly irrespective of whether you’re infected or not. If you would like to learn more about our coronavirus testing kits, do not hesitate to reach out to Tajmeel Clinic.
